Hallo, I'm Niek. I am a fourth year bachelor astronomy student from the beautiful east of the Netherlands, and this year, I am taking on the role of chair of Sirius A. You may know me from the beautiful gala we organized in 2025 and 2026, but you may have also seen me at most of our other parties. I can also be found in our ISS. And if it is after 16:00, with a beer in my hand as well. If you would like to play some card games in the ISS, don't hesitate to ask me, but i can tell you already that I will win.
Maria Mihai — Secretary & Commissioner of Educational Affairs

Hi:D My name is Maria Mihai, and I am happy to be this year's Secretary and Commissioner of Educational Affairs of Sirius A! I am 22 years old, in my fourth-year of the BSc in Astronomy, and I come from Arad, Romania. Some fun facts about me: I know the flag of every country, I speak 4 languages, and I know how to make balloon animals. Of course, that's what just came at the top of my head, so if you want to chat more, I'm always in the ISS. I am also a fan of dark colours, punk (or anything high BPM really), playing with makeup, and baking! I am also a member of the Programme Committee, so make sure you make your voices heard by completing the feedback forms:) That's all about it really. Hi! I’m Lena, this year’s Commissioner of Internal Affairs and Sustainability Officer. I’m an Astronomy student, and if I’m not doing something for Sirius A, there’s a decent chance I’m still doing something astronomy-related anyway - whether that’s working at the DOT Live Planetarium or stargazing. I’m originally from Poland, I’m learning to fly, and I have a habit of signing up for far too many projects. You can usually find me somewhere around the ISS, so feel free to come say hi, ask me anything about Sirius A, or just distract me from whatever spreadsheet I’m working on (greatly appreciated)!

Hi, My name is Bram. I am from the Dutch country side and currently a first year Masters student and I am the Commissioner of External Affairs. One of my favorite things to do is gaming with friends. You can find me hanging in the room a lot doing all sorts of stuff.

Hii! I am Inês, the Commissioner of Public Relations, and I am really excited to continue making sure Sirius A is worthy of a Pinterest board! I am a second year astronomy student from the small town of Covilhã, center of Portugal. I love playing videogames and everything that is related to them. You can probably catch me watching 4 hour video essays about a cool game I just found. Some random facts about me are that I am a bassist, I love love love reading books, and I am really into fashion. My spawn rate is quite high in the ISS, where I have a 75% chance of holding a can of Monster and a good 25% chance of holding a caprisun (sometimes both), and a 112% chance of having a cup of sangria in any borrel/event. I am always down to yap and listen about everything, so if you see me around feel free to just hit me up!!
