Platonic Speed Dating

Organized by: Board

We are still early on the year, so grab this as an opportunity to talk to that cool person you really wanted to befriend! Well… here’s your chance! 💙✨

Whether you’ve been to a Sirius A event before or this is your very first one, we’d love to have you join us. Come meet fellow astronomy enthusiasts, discover some new faces, and hopefully leave with a few new friends (and maybe some fun stories along the way)! 🌙🔭

To help us find you a great first match and give you some fun conversation starters, fill in as many of the questions below as you’d like. The answers you provide will be shared with your group, so keep that in mind when answering! :)

Here’s how it works:

★ First round: We’ll pair you with a group based on your shared interests, so you can start with someone who hopefully matches your vibe.

★ Switch it up: After a set amount of time, you’ll switch groups and meet someone new. That way, you’ll get to chat with different people throughout the evening.

★ Keep it chill: There’s no pressure to be the most social person in the room. Whether you’re an introvert, extrovert, or somewhere in between, come at your own pace and enjoy yourself!

And most importantly: you’re always free to leave whenever your social battery starts running low. 🔋💫

So, grab a drink, bring your curiosity, and get ready to meet some fellow astronomy nerds! 🌌💙
